Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: People interested in spirituality and how to apply spiritual principles practically, in daily life.

Q: What is the book about?
A: The relationship of spirit to the material world. A clear, detailed explanation of the Law of Attraction and how to actually apply it to daily living for greater happiness and success.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: Because I have been studying spirituality and science for over 30 years. Because I believe that rational thought and spirituality are not mutually exclusive. Because I have the ability to clearly explain spirituality in language people understand, and make it real.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
This book takes a simple scientific principle –– that atoms are essentially vibrational in nature –– and develops an uplifting and common–sense explanation for why life is the way it is.

Is there anything else we should know about this book?
It is available on Amazon.com and through my personal website.

Walking Man: A Modern Missions Experience In Latin America, By: Narciso Zamora

Posted by Dan Janal, Your Fearless PR LEADER | January 17th, 2008

Pitch reporters with our up-to-date media databases:

Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: This book is intended for young adults, adults, Pastors, and lay persons in support of missions. Walking Man inspires and affirms commitments to foreign missions.

Q: What is the book about?
A: Walking Man is the odyssey of Narciso Zamora’s winding and treacherous path toward finding his calling in missions. Trekking with the Gospel over the mountains and through the jungles of Ecuador, Peru and Chile, often walking for days to reach an isolated settlement of a few families, Zamora’s is a story of Christian triumph in a literal journey of not just a thousand miles, but 10,000 miles.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: Well, I walked it! I have worked in this field for over 30 years and have so many stories to tell that the only logical thing to do was to write a book about the wonders that Jesus has done in my life. This book is a living example of how God can change dramatically someone’s life. I know first hand the challenges that a missionary has to deal with and sharing my experiences can not only encourage others to work, but to act as a manual for someone wanting to get involved in the field.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A: This book offers a real life example of what it is to be a missionary and what it takes to be one. My background is so humble and my resources have always been so meager, that if I can do what I’ve done, then, with God’s help, anyone can become a missionary. This book allows me to share my successes and struggles and all of those experiences that have shaped me as a person.

Q: Is there anything else we should know about this book?
A: Author proceeds and a significant portion of publisher proceeds go to fund my newest missions project, a school in Cajamarca, Peru to train Latin Americans for the mission field on their own continent.

LoveDance: Awakening The Divine Daughter, By Deborah Maragopoulos, FNP

Posted by Dan Janal, Your Fearless PR LEADER | January 7th, 2008

Pitch reporters with our up-to-date media databases:

1. What is the title of the book?
LoveDance: Awakening The Divine Daughter, By Deborah Maragopoulos, FNP

2. Who is the intended audience?
LoveDance’s main audience is women between 30 and 70 years old, although many men have been moved to share how touched they were by this alternate history. LoveDance works on many levels for spiritual seekers, history buffs, both genders on their path to enlightenment, and anyone open to receive healing—body, mind and soul.

Pre-market research showed men and women from 16 to 89 years of age had transformational experiences in reading just two chapters. Fundamental Christians may not appreciate the book which draws more from the Aramaic Peshitta and the Hebrew Tanach than from the New Testament.

At the surface, LoveDance unveils a great romance, before the intimate nuances of the lost Sacred Feminine are revealed. Those who dare to open themselves to the gift of LoveDance find hundreds of insights, layers of spiritual truths, and a deep connection with the Divine.

3. What is the book about?
LoveDance is the inspirational tale of Mary Magdalen. As the sensual embodiment of the Divine Daughter, she struggles within a restrictive patriarchal society to be her truth. Her beloved husband, Yeshua, believes he is the Hebrew Messiah which is challenging at best.

Who knows a great man better than his wife. Mary has much to share with the readers. While Yeshua wishes to teach peace and love, the tribes want a warrior king like David to free them from the Roman oppression. His chosen council of twelve cannot accept an unveiled woman as the mother of the Holy Bloodline.

Just as we today try to answer the existential questions of who we are, why we are here, where we are going, what is our purpose, and when is the time ripe, Mary’s journey unveils her Divine Truth through very human relationships. Mary’s story is a parable for us all.

4. Why are you the best person to write this book?
As a board certified family nurse practitioner, I set out to write a health and wellness book. My specialty is neuro-immune-endocrinology—the study of the molecules of emotion.

My colleagues and patients encouraged me to share my pearls of healing wisdom. So I began in the summer of 2003, but no muse came until I had a dream that I was fourteen-year-old Mary Magdalen dancing down the streets of Nazareth.

As an intuitive integrative healer, I have always followed my inner guidance in my own life and when counseling patients. Having premonitions all of my life, dreaming the conception of both of my children, knowing what ails patients before they even arrive in my clinic, how could I deny this passionate muse who came in visions and dreams, some even in Aramaic!

For eight months, I wrote prolifically; over 420,000 words as if rehearsing for a major theatrical production. I wrote in first person present tense because that’s how it felt to me. Like Mary, I am a passionate woman, married to my soul mate, have consciously raised two enlightened children and am sought out by patients from around the world for my healing gifts.

5. How is this book different from other books on this topic?
There’s history, then there’s HERstory. Other novels about this controversial woman mimic history as recorded by men, presenting Mary Magdalen as a red-headed prostitute possessed by demons tagging behind Jesus like a groupie.

Some explore an alternate history, yet with the distance of past tense, third person, the story is reported not experienced. Using first person present tense narration, LoveDance portrays dark, and beautiful Mary Magdalen as the beloved wife of Yeshua, his essential partner and soul mate.

True love is a journey with the potential to realize our own divinity in the eyes of our beloved. So often we are told how to be happy, how to heal, how to become enlightened.

LoveDance allows the reader to experience Mary and Yeshua’s relationship. Through their trials and tribulations, through their soul searching and ultimate awakening, the reader grows, further on her own soul path. A gifted healer, a wise mother, a powerful leader, yet very human in her passions and vulnerability, Mary is the lost Sacred Feminine that women and men yearn for today. LoveDance is HERstory.

6. Is there anything else we should know about this book?
While self help books are all the rage, to truly imbibe the vibration of healing, one must tell a story; a story so rich in description that the reader experiences everything the characters experience. Throughout time immortal the great masters have taught through story telling; connecting the psyche to the archetypal myths that reflect our human experiences.

LoveDance intimately engages the reader with in depth characterization, emotion, passion, adventure, leading to self reflection and ultimately healing. Already readers are testifying to marked changes in their bio-psycho-social-spiritual health. I realize that my clear intention fueled by pure desire becomes manifest. And I meant to write a healing book.

LoveDance teaches all the pearls of wisdom I wished to impart in story form the way a beloved avatar taught 2000 years ago.

Getting In The Christmas Spirit: Inspiration For The Holiday Season, By Tian Dayton

Posted by Dan Janal, Your Fearless PR LEADER | December 24th, 2007

Pitch reporters with our up-to-date media databases:

1. What is the title of the book?
Getting in the Christmas Spirit: Inspiration for the Holiday Season, By Tian Dayton

2. Who is the intended audience?
This is a gift book that literally has no audience limitations except age. It would appeal to anyone from 9-99 years of age.

The idea was to create an inspiring little present for all of those occasions when you want to give something special, something of high quality and design and something that carries a deep meaning and message without being corny or overly dramatic. A perfectly pitched little gift.

This is the first book of a line of gift books published by my new company Sweet Symbols sweetsymbolsgiftbooks.com.

3. What is the book about?
This is a book of inspiring affirmations, quotes and readings.

The affirmations are written to help, heal and inspire. They are a subtle way to lift the spirits and reaffirm what the holidays are all about, connection, deepening bonds and re-igniting the spirit.

The quotes in this book are time tested truths, they are bits of wisdom that have been selected by millions of hands and minds because they strike a true and helpful chord.

The readings are from all walks of life. Drawn from spiritual literature, books, letters, poems and famous speeches, they capture the imagination and motivate the reader to make the most out of the holidays, the most out of life.

The affirmations are also written to guide the reader through the natural stresses and challenges of the holidays. Christmas is a heightened reality, feelings run high and gatherings can sometimes feel intense or overwhelming. The reader can find identification and solace in the pages of this book. The affirmations, because they are written in the first person, feel as if they are an inner voice, sustaining and nurturing.

4. Why are you the best person to write this book?
For several reasons. I am a psychologist and I deal with people’s dreams, aspirations and problems each and every day and have had three decades of experience in helping them to solve them.

Additionally, I am a best selling author of affirmations having sold over three hundred thousand affirmations books. I have been writing affirmations for twenty years, I use them as a form of self healing, journaling and daily inspiration.

Affirmation writing is a part of my spiritual journey and my emotional healing. I have also written fifteen books so I understand the ins and outs of book writing and publishing…I have made my mistakes elsewhere….I corrected them all here!

5. How is this book different from other books on this topic?
I wrote this book to correct my frustrations with my other books. Publishing with a large company means that I have to live with their choices in format and design. This book, I did on my own. I hired one of the top designers in New York City and asked her to create something truly beautiful, something that looked like a wrapped present.

She is a top designer who has been unusually well educated in her profession and has worked for all of the top New York companies and celebrities. She is also an expert in branding and identifying trends.

To this end she has created an elegant Matisse-like design that is inviting and enlivening.

The interior of the book is elegant and the design supports the message and, in fact, the pace of affirmation reading. It is inviting and lovely to look at. The paper is heavy and shiny.

Unlike a large company, we spared no expense in making it an elegant and tasteful gift that any one would feel proud to give. Lastly, we created a gold foil seal on the cover of each book to give it that fresh from the gift shop feeling.

6. Is there anything else we should know about this book?
You should know that it contains all of my favorite readings, the ones that bring tears to my eyes and make my heart flutter or take my breath away.

The quotes are thoughts to live by. The content that I have created is informed by years of experience, education and research. The design makes it sing.

This series represents the coming to fruition of a long held dream of mine to create gift books that have real substance and beauty.
