Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: Consumers of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities who are proactive in managing their health.

Q: What is the book about?
A: Avoiding Cancer One Day At A Time is about reducing the heartache the authors have repeatedly seen in patients, friends and family stricken with cancer. Too often cancer attacks young, otherwise healthy people, even children. The most complete resource for cancer prevention information includes Chapter 1 highlighting what we have done to treat cancer, what’s worked and why.

Chapter 2 provides a 25 question pre-test to help consumers understand how much they know about cancer prevention. An easy to read description of what is cancer and what causes it comprise Chapter 3. Chapters 4-8 describe, in easy to read style, the relationship between the environment, infection, lifestyle, medicine and nutrition and cancer.

Chapter 10 includes a collection of over 30 cancer prevention recipes. Every chapter is designed to provide practical and, in many cases, simple ideas to decrease your risk of developing cancer. Worksheets for applying cancer prevention principles and a list known human carcinogens form the appendices.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: Authors Lynne Eldridge M.D. and David Borgeson MS MPT are passionate champions for a healthy, natural lifestyle that includes primary prevention as the key to greatly reducing the risk of getting cancer, or keeping it at bay.

She completed her residency with time spent in Hawaii studying health risks related to human exposure to pesticides.
David Borgeson graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Epidemiology from the University of Hawaii, and has worked as an epidemiologist and research scientist with the California, Minnesota and Hawaii State Health Departments. David also has a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University Medical School.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A: This book focuses soley on prevention, is written by well credentialed authors, is based on the latest scientific research information and is easy to read.

Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: Our culture pushes the mantra, “You can have it all!” Yet, for many, “having it all” costs them dearly through debilitating stress, failing health, unbalanced lifestyles, suffering relationships, anxiety over finances and overall disappointment with quality of life.

The intended audiences are people who are busy: executives, entrepreneurs, and CEO’s. But anyone who has a busy life and is finding it difficult to find the work-life balance is my audience!

Q: What is the book about?
A: Great care has been taken to develop The Healthy CEO and its accompanying workbook to benefit everyone. This isn’t difficult medical language to wade through, it is accessible to all. I present each fact in an imaginative manner through the fictional characters of Frank and Katie Johnson, a CEO and an entrepreneur trying to make life, love, and living, work. You will find hope and inspiration in their story and be empowered as you apply The Healthy CEO program to your life. The book is divided into three parts that work intricately together to overall wellness.

Physical Wellness: Preventative strategies to take charge of your health, and quality of life.

Relational Wellness: Strategies to prevent stress that have a negative effect on your job satisfaction and your home life.

Financial Wellness: How to manage the income that you have, and avoid poor financial decisions.

As you move through the book, you will find you are swept up in the lives of Frank and Katie Johnson, and they will be your partners as you learn to take accountability for your actions in your lifestyle. Whether you are looking for a few lifestyle changes, or a major overhaul of your life, this is the book to get you there.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: I am a force to be reckoned with. I have piloted jet airplanes, thwarted an impending heart attack, and spoken publicly to hundreds of executives on how to avoid ending up in the morgue early. I am a man who infuses life with energy, purpose, and passion. I was named the Top Canadian TEC speaker of 2007.

I walk the talk daily, holding myself accountable for my health and wellness, and empowering individuals to take responsibility for their own health. My proven concepts of goal setting and outcome measurements are unmatched when it comes to addressing the unique challenges facing executives.

I was recently named one of the top 100 physicians of the century by the College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Alberta Medial Association, and had a successful medical practice in Alberta, Canada for ten years. I received the Alberta Centennial Medal in recognition of outstanding service to the people and province of Alberta, and the Dr. Louis Levasseur Distinguished Service Award from the Medical Council of Canada. As the President and CEO of Ohlhauser & Associates, I consult in healthcare strategy and management consulting for large multinational corporations and government institutions.

I urge everyone to “Be the CEO of your health” and show people how to slow down and recognize the importance of the physical, relational, and financial wellness in their lives. I am also a member of Vistage/TEC the world’s largest CEO membership organization, dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of its members.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A: This book covers not only physical wellness, which will keep your body going, but also the emotional aspects of your spousal relationships, and your financial situation. I address everything from good nutritional suggestions, to sleeping habits, to the specific problems CEO’s have to address in their businesses and home lives. No other book covers the topic of physical wellness in this manner. This book is only the beginning for changing your life. It comes with a CD-ROM workbook that enables readers to be active in changing their lifestyles.

Q: Is there anything else we should know about this book?
A: True success is success that can be fully and freely enjoyed. What good is corporate conquest or financial security at the expense of your body, sanity, relationships, or longevity?

Be well. Be well-off. You can do both. The Healthy CEO can help you lead the life you’ve always wanted to live. Here are some of the amazing points the book covers: The 9 factors people need to measure and maintain for good health, and how adopting a health and wellness philosophy can increase profitability and build strength within a company. How to assess health knowledge, measure results, and use motivational tools to reveal areas of improvement and assess successes. How to help executives develop action plans for work-life balance. How to utilize my new program The Healthy CEO to pursue physical, relational and financial wellness. What a normal sleep pattern is, and a method to identify whether you are achieving this. Nobody seems to understand me when I talk: Three simple steps to get results. How to make sense of your personal finances, and Instances in which dietary supplements are required and why. You will also take with you an individualized step-by-step personal action plan to achieve the results you desire. It is simply the best book on health and wellness around!

Q. Who is the intended audience?
A. This book is for people who feel like they are not as young as they used to be. Stiffness, pain, and lack of energy keep them from activities or feeling as good as they remember. Most people over 40 fall in this category, but younger people who’ve been injured can benefit, too. If you are willing to spend five minutes a day on simple exercise that can be done most anywhere, this book will help restore lost vitality.

Q. What is the book about?
A. This exercise guide teaches how to keep your body fluid with undulation, a smooth motion. The 52 exercises are unique: they build balanced strength and flexibility, rehydrate the discs between the vertebrae, and restore function to stuck joints, which creates a healthier spine.

The Beginning Undulations (including Easy Sway and Happy Dog) are intended to wake up inactive muscles, so the body becomes aware of what it’s been missing. The Intermediate Exercises (such as Mermaid and Tailbone Penmanship) build on the basics and use more imaginative movements. The Advanced Undulations (Snake Charmer and Caressed by Waves, for example) get even more playful, and the Mastery Exercises are innovative explorations into the spine (culminating in Old Faithful).

Q. Why are you the best person to write this book?
A. I’ve developed undulation as an easy, stand alone exercise that takes only five minutes a day. Many of my clients aren’t up for yoga or Pilates, so I’ve taken the essential fluid building component of exercise and created something new that anybody can do.

As a Structural Integrator, I focus on helping my clients regain lost function. Many are injured, so I’ve written a book with a therapeutic focus.

We often think that easy movements aren’t as beneficial as hard ones. However, I’ve learned that what feels good is often the road to healing.

Q. How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A. Although the undulation movement is inherent in other movement forms like yoga and dance, it’s not given the spotlight in any other book. Most exercise alternates between building strength and then stretching to create flexibility. Undulation works on both at once.

Also, undulation movements are very small. Some of the exercises can be done while you’re around other people and no one will even notice. These tiny, slow movements target the tiny stabilizing muscles that many other forms of exercise ignore. Undulations literally bring fluid to places in the body that have been immobilized or dehydrated.

Q. Is there anything else we should know about this book?
A. The book is available in both a printed and an audio version. The printed version is Relieve Stiffness and Feel Young Again with Undulation and the audio version is Undulation Exercises. Both were written by Anita Boser, LMP, CHP with the Foreword by Mary Bond and the Introduction by Roger Golten.

Both have easy-to-follow and encouraging instructions. The printed version includes photographs of regular people doing the exercises. On the audio version, the exercises are set to inspiring music.

Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: “Thin People Don’t Clean Their Plates” was written for the person who is motivated to lose weight, but is frustrated by a lifetime of dieting unsuccessfully. This book will help any overweight person learn how to make the same simple lifestyle choices a thin person makes to reach their ideal weight.

Q: What is the book about?
A: “Thin People Don’t Clean Their Plates” is the simple solution to losing weight permanently without diets or deprivation. This book includes an easy-to-follow format that will change how you think about food, beverages, movement, sleep and your body. By following just one or two of these simple “THIN CHOICES”, you will begin to experience an improvement in how your clothes fit and how you feel. Those who choose to follow all 19 of the simple steps to become a thin person will forever transform their life.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: I am the perfect person to write this book because I have the education combined with experience. I have a formal training in nutrition with my master’s degree in nutritional sciences and my bachelor’s degree in dietetics. My experience comes from the fact that I needed to lose 40 pounds to lose to reach my ideal body weight. Frustrated that I knew what I should do, but didn’t know how to fit these strategies into my life, I started observing the habits of ‘thin people’.

These people were walking around in the body that I wanted. I wanted to know what they ate, how they ate it and when, what they drank, if they exercised, what kind of exercise they did, how they slept, handled stress, handled cravings, holidays, restaurants and parties. I spent 10,000 hours interviewing and studying their lifestyle habits.

After losing my excess body fat, I began to teach others these “THIN CHOICES” strategies at our local hospitals. After 15 years and numerous success stories, I decided these simple strategies needed to be shared with the millions of people who are so desperately searching for the magic bullet to permanent weight loss. I believe this book contains the magic bullet and I am glad to be the one to have discovered it.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A: No other weight loss book offers the inside information on how a ‘thin person’ thinks and lives. If you want to be a successful real estate investor, you should study what the successful real estate investors are doing. If you want to be thin and healthy, do what the thin and healthy people are doing. It is almost too simple. Diets do not work, but living like a thin person will produce the same results for you as it does for them. It is a way-of-life, not a quick fix.

Q: Is there anything else we should know about this book?
A: I am often quoted as the ‘weight loss expert’ and author of “Thin People Don’t Clean Their Plates” in national publications, including Prevention, Redbook, Family Circle, Weight Watchers International, Men’s Muscle and Fitness, Women’s World You can download a free THIN CHOICES lifestyle diary, as mentioned in the book at www.SimpleLifestyleChoices.com.

Question: Who is the intended audience?
Leading under Pressure summarizes the many challenges executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, and road-warriors face in the current fast-paced corporate craze, where exceptional expectations are the norm, but where there is little guidance in how to do it all, perfectly well, and at once.

Q: What is the book about?
A: Millions around the world are thinking, planning, and scheming about how to stretch a 24-hour day into an endless and productive workday. Many face the daily quandary of finding new ways to thrive in order to achieve higher goals, with increased competition, progressively limited resources, and the same manpower.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: Many executives and entrepreneurs who visited me as a physician or coach were complaining of stress and burn-out when they were actually ill. They were already experiencing medical problems, depression, and anxiety triggered my incredible amounts of endless stress. Our health care system was not addressing this need. On the other end, as an executive coach, many were visiting me to help them produce at their max yet, unless they were in a healthy state, the business strategies would work half way. As a medical doctor, clinical researcher, board certified psychiatrist, MBA, lecturer, executive coach, and corporate consultant, I have an extensive toolbox to address and help improve these issues. My forte is a unique combination of knowledge, experience, and an intuitive deductive ability brought to the service of those in need. Additionally, having experienced the challenges and benefits of raising a great family while working in different settings including Corporate America and within my own business, this added insights leading to the creation of practical and effective strategies that work.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A: Leading under Pressure is unique in that it integrates business concepts such as productivity and performance in the workplace with health concepts to maximize well-being on an individual and organizational basis. This integrative and comprehensive approach is unique, as leadership in business has been traditionally addressed as a business issue and wellness strategies have rarely been connected to high productivity from a standpoint of well-being. In general, the healthcare industry has only addressed productivity issues only as they relate to ill people struggling with getting their work done. Instead, Leading under Pressure not only addresses strategies for those who are not healthy and in the process of improving to those who are healthy and working on performing and producing at their next level.

Q: Is there anything else we should know about this book?
A: Readers of Leading under Pressure have shared with me they have enjoyed reading the book more than once. They like “carrying it around” to re-read during their travels. This, they say, allows them to internalize the concepts and put them into practice with deeper understanding. The book provides for practical tips to continue to improve, making it a continuous effort rather than a one-time deal. Everyone who feels like she or he is doing more with less will find practical strategies to address issues on a personal, professional, and organizational level.

Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: Any cancer patient, caregiver or loved one related to a cancer patient or anyone who wants to avoid cancer.

Q: What is the book about?
A: Cancer is easy to reverse. All people need is information. They are not going to get it from their cancer doctors. There is just too much potential income for the cancer “industry” from each cancer patient. The only place they are going to get complete information on their options (beyond chemotherapy, radiation and surgery) is
from books, websites and newsletters which cover “alternative” cancer healing methods which can’t be patented.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: After losing my former wife to ovarian cancer in 1994 (actually to the treatment she received), I embarked on a mission to save as many people as possible from her fate. Starting in 1998, when I became aware of the vast amount of information available on the Internet about alternative healing methods for cancer, I began studying them. Every day since then, I have studied and written about cancer treatment. Through my three books, 113 newsletters, 35 workshops all over the country, and dozens of teleseminars and radio interviews, I have been able to help over 2,000 people recover from cancer — all types, all stages. Most of these people have discussed my regimen with me on the phone or by e-mail. About 94% of the people I counsel this way have become “cancer-free.” I now host a radio show called “How to Live Cancer-Free.” It is on the web ( http://www.WebTalkRadio.net) and two radio stations for four hours a week. My biweekly “Cancer-Free” newsletter is free. It is read by 9,500 subscribers in 59 countries. In short, I know more than just about anybody alive the “answer to cancer.” The same regimen I recommend to reverse it is effective in avoiding cancer. I know. I will be 76 in January 2008 and I am in perfect health. I do the regimen I recommend every day for prevention of cancer and all other degenerative conditions.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A: Of all the cancer books I’ve read, mine is the only one which recommends a specific diet and supplement regimen which has worked to heal over 2,000 cancer patients. With feedback from my readers and from other cancer experts I have gradually perfected a combination which works for just about any person, any cancer, any stage.

Q: Is there anything else we should know about this book?
A: The audience for this information is huge. BookLocker, my “print-on-demand” publisher, publishes over 1,000 books currently. My book has been at the top of their “best-seller” list since the week after they first published it in June, 2007. I also offer coaching to people who have read my book. This can be by phone or e-mail — their choice.

Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: Children, ages 3-7, who have life-threatening peanut allergies.

Q: What is the book about?
A: A boy named Peter who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening peanut allergy. Like millions of other American children, he learns about his condition and how to self-advocate. Life-saving topics such as using epinephrine, wearing a medical alert bracelet, refraining from sharing food with others, and discussing his condition are addressed throughout beautifully illustrated pages – all in friendly language that won’t scare the reader.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: As a school psychologist, I know firsthand how to communicate serious information in non-threatening ways to children. As the mother of a peanut-allergic boy, I have a personal investment in the topic.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A: It’s a story with a human central character, aimed at the 3-7 year-old set.

Q: Is there anything else we should know about this book?
A: We are THRILLED to announce that Peter Can’t Eat Peanuts has won the Parent-to-Parent Adding Wisdom Award: Top 20 of 2006; and has just been honored with the Mom’s Choice Award for Best Educational Book of 2006!

Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: Adults, particularly those interested in travel and road trips.

Q: What is the book about?
A: Told through journal entries, dreams, and emailed travelogues – with an occasional recipe tossed in – this heartwarming story of one woman’s midlife search for Home winds through terrain both personal and public. From the Pacific Northwest to the Canadian Rockies, from Yellowstone to Maine and west again through Santa Fe, Claire describes the inner and outer landscapes with poetic honesty and subtle humor. This book is a beacon to all who step into uncertainty in search of where they belong.

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: This story is autobiographical. As the person who took the journey, I am best suited to write about it.

Q: How is this book different from other books on this topic?
A: How many 40-year-old women leave everything they know, become voluntarily unemployed and homeless, to travel 15,000 miles, solo, in search of where they belong? And then how many of those publish a book about their journey?

Each journey is unique, with experiences seen through that person’s eyes. This one is special not only because it’s a woman traveling alone, but because of the way it is told (through journal entries, dreams, and emailed letters). In many ways, it follows the arc of the classic “hero’s journey.” In fact, one reviewer wrote: “Joseph Campbell once said that there are really only two stories: A hero sets out on a journey and A stranger comes to town. Claire Josefine tells both stories in this slender in-search-of odyssey. Claire’s keen eye for the beauty of small things in the natural world and her willingness to disclose doubts, fears, joys, and humble triumphs along the way, leaves the reader with the distinct sensation of having come along on her solitary journey. This lovely little read will have you thinking about what “home” really means. Curl up and enjoy a ramble from the comfort of your corner of the world. (Carla Baku — Freelance writer, poet)

Q: Is there anything else we should know about this book?
A: Readers keep writing to me with the same response: Thank you for writing this book. I’m having a hard time putting it down!

Question: Who is the intended audience?
Answer: Anyone that has ever made the wrong decision.

Q: What is the book about?
A: Become the ORACLE of your own life!!!
Access Ongoing Guidance – Avoid Adversity – Never Get Burned Again
Techniques You Can Use TODAY!!!

Q: Why are you the best person to write this book?
A: Well, for starters, we have been doing this for decades…
We have experimented beyond belief…
We breathe, sleep and live this stuff 24/7.
Our life is an ongoing science experiment…
Along the way, we have made the biggest mistakes, stupid decisions, could tell you a ton of stories but I think we will save them for our next book…
Why do we call it a mission? Cause it most certainly is.
We have given our lives to this cause…the Trust Yourself Mission…committed to the end… Wrote the Trust Yourself Book, the Trust Yourself Workbook, and created the Trust Yourself System.
Why? So you too can use the TY System and have an easier time of it while you are here.
Just like when you are given an assignment at work – you do it, you perfect it and you present it.
That is exactly how we see this mission…it is our job and duty…and we enjoy it immensely!
Not to mention, we have been featured on a gazillion different shows, conducted workshops all over the country, and personally worked with thousands of people just like you…
Do we have credentials? Thirteen between the two of us…
